Meet Aleasia Morrissey, whose lifelong passion for movement, fitness, health, and wellness has shaped her journey. Growing up, Aleasia channeled her energy into hockey, representing Taranaki and North Harbour and playing competitively for 11 years. Her hard work and talent earned her a spot to trial for the under-18 New Zealand development squad. Though her dream of playing for New Zealand didn’t come to fruition, the experience was invaluable.

 

Balancing the demands of competitive sports with full-time work to support herself was a significant challenge. Despite these hurdles, Aleasia’s dedication to health and wellness never wavered. She remains committed to inspiring others on their own wellness journeys, drawing from her personal experiences and unwavering passion.

 

Aleasia is a passionate yoga teacher who completed her 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training on June 22, 2022, in Queenstown, New Zealand. With an open heart, she embraced her training, transforming her yoga practice from a purely physical experience into a profound inner journey.

 

Yoga has been a healing force for Aleasia, infusing her life with warmth, light, love, joy, and passion. It has guided her through life’s challenges and helped her find balance. She is deeply committed to sharing this transformative power with her students, creating a warm and nurturing space where everyone can explore, heal, grow, and become stronger together.

 

Aleasia’s classes are designed to leave you feeling empowered and strong, not only physically but by tapping into the inner strength and power we all hold within. Her vibrant and loving personality radiates warmth like sunshine. Her Vinyasa classes are a beautiful blend of challenge and ease, with playful, creative sequencing that offers space to level up your practice or take it at a slower pace. Each practice is unique and always guided by the quiet whispers of what your body needs, like finding the perfect melody just right for you.

Aleasia’s learning journey continues as she completed her Barre Pilates training with The Method in Auckland in 2023. Her enthusiasm and energy are contagious, making her classes so fun that you’ll find yourself laughing through that famous barre burn. 

 

Aleasia is currently continuing to grow her practice and teachings by undertaking an online 50-hour Yin Yoga training and a 30 hour advance Asana course.

 

Aleasia is a passionate and dynamic individual whose life is a blend of creativity and adventure. When she isn’t in the studio, you’ll find her immersed in nature’s wonders. She loves climbing mountains, skiing, chasing waterfalls, ice cold dips, boating, and diving. Above all, she treasures spending quality time with her family.
